Grants - Heritage advisor
Most councils are eligible for dollar-for-dollar grants to part fund their Heritage Advisor Service.
We also support the service by providing a professional development workshop program and an email chat group for heritage advisors and council officers.
Grants - Heritage studies
Grants are available for stage 1, 2 and 3 local heritage studies.
Heritage studies identify, assess and document all places of heritage significance within the municipality and make recommendations for their future conservation.
Traditionally, these studies have been limited to historic heritage places, although a broader assessment of cultural heritage places is encouraged.
