Warmun Art Collection Conservation Fundraiser
18 Oct 2011Help conserve this significant art collection at the fundraising dinner, October 21, 2011.
The Warmun Art Collection, which contains some of the earliest art produced in the Kimberly region, suffered severe flood damage in March 2011. Many of the 340 pieces, including artwork from some of the Kimberley’s best known painters, is in desperate need of specialised conservation work.
Elders, artists and representatives of the Warmun Art Centre will be present at the fundraiser to discuss their efforts to rescue the art collection and rebuild the art centre. Tickets are $150 each which includes a three course dinner and wine.
The dinner is on October 21, 2011 at 7.00 pm at University House, University of Melbourne.
