Learn more about your home with What house is that?
What house is that? identifies nine main housing styles - from early Victorian to Modern - and provides specific information for each style.
What house is that? is available as a 32 page free booklet and an online interactive, with additional features.
It provides an understanding of the development of our built heritage, as well as sections on paint schemes, how to make your home more energy efficient and how to avoid mistakes when renovating.
The booklet was first published in conjunction with the Building Commission during the Year of the Built Environment in 2004, it was revised in 2007 by the Heritage Council of Victoria and due to popular demand, was reissued in 2011.
