Minister Madden's visit to Daylesford in May 2008

Members of local communities play an important role in protecting Victoria's valuable heritage.

From maintaining heritage gardens, to recording headstone inscriptions, there are a wide range of opportunities for people of all ages and with a variety of skills to get involved.

If you are interested volunteering opportunities, visit Victoria's Volunteering Portal - information for volunteers and volunteer organisations at www.volunteer.vic.gov.au.

This is a new online resource that will assist both volunteers and project hosts interested in heritage volunteering opportunities.

Heritage Victoria also has ongoing opportunities for volunteers to work with our Maritime Heritage Unit.
