About
On Tuesday 9 April 2013, Premier Denis Napthine announced a restructuring of the Victorian Public Service. This includes the merge of the former Department of Planning and Community Development with the former Department of Transport to create the new Department of Transport, Planning and Local Infrastructure.
This transition is currently in process and we're working hard to have the new website up and running by the end of June 2013. Until this transition process is finalised, the former Department of Planning and Community Development will continue its central role in managing Victoria’s growth and development and building stronger communities.
The details of the Premier's press release can be found at the Premier of Victoria website.
