The $24.2 million Clayton Community Centre is Victoria’s largest community facility. It is also a vibrant ‘one-stop-shop’, where people of all ages can access and enjoy a whole host of activities and services.

The number of people attending the new Bellarine Aquatic and Sports Centre in Ocean Grove has exceeded expectations with more than 136,500 recreational swim visits and learn-to-swim enrolments over 1300 each term.

Tallygaroopna tallies up new change rooms

The changing rooms at Tallygaroopna Football Netball Club near Shepparton have been standing for around 20 years and are best described as dilapidated. Fortunately, in 2005 the Club was successful in its application to the Victorian Government for funding to replace the change rooms, receiving $50,000 from the Country Football and Netball Program.

A $201,000 restoration project, funded with assistance from the Flood Recovery Community Infrastructure Fund, means cries of ‘game, set, and match’ are once again being heard across flood damaged tennis courts in Wangaratta.
