Regional Matters 2005 - Servicing Communities

Icon: Servicing Communities
Regional communities require many of the same services as their city counterparts. Health, transport, education and public housing, are just a few. The challenges of distance and population have resulted in the innovative delivery of many of these services. Various applications of telecommunications are now central to the delivery of information and data services as well as training and diagnostic services.
