Profile of a 2009 Ricci Marks Award Recipient
Allan Miller was the recipient of the Ricci Marks Award in 2009. Allan has since completed his Certificate IV in Business Management and is currently finishing a diploma of Project Management at the Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE in Preston.
After almost four years working with Victoria Police, Allan has recently taken a management position at South West Healthcare, Warrnambool. He is also the Chairman of the Gunditjmara Aboriginal Co-operative in Warrnambool.
Allan said that the Ricci Marks Award was an uplifting and encouraging experience:
“Hearing about all the good things other young people are doing and achieving just empowers you to strive for great goals. Goals for not only yourself but the whole community.”
