Good practice examples
The audit program aims to promote an effective, voluntary compliance culture, encourage good practice and achieve transparent governance across local government. To support this aim, the Inspectorate promotes examples of good practices identified during compliance audits, and shares them throughout the sector.
In the tables below you will find information and samples to assist in the development of policies and procedures.
The information has been shared with the permission of the relevant local council.
