Performance

View the Statewide Community Satisfaction Survey Results to find out what the community thinks about councils services.

Further information about council performance can be found in the Local Government in Victoria Report which brings together information from councils' annual reports to provide a snapshot of the current position of the sector.

The Victorian Government has introduced a mandatory system of performance reporting for councils to ensure that all councils are measuring and reporting on their performance in a consistent way. From 2015, this will enable members of the community to compare similar councils across 70 indicators and assess their performance. Find out more about the performance reporting framework.
