Renewing Frankston’s city centre
26 Jul 2011Share your ideas about the future of Frankston’s city centre.
Residents, community groups, businesses and other stakeholders are invited to have their say on the future planning of Frankston's city centre.
Over the next 12 months, the State Government will be working with Frankston City Council to revise the Frankston TAFE to Bay Structure Plan, which will guide the future planning of Frankston's city centre. This will include development of a shared vision for the future.
The updated Structure Plan and vision will guide future land use, development and investment in Frankston for the next 20 years. It will identify and facilitate changes to land uses, building size and design, and public spaces.
It will inform the location and types of housing, businesses, community facilities, transport and infrastructure that people want to see in Frankston.
There are a number of ways for people to get involved:
- Speak up at the Frankston Speakout! on 19 August.
- Take part in a community workshop on 31 August.
- Log on to the online forum to have your say from 25 July to 2 September.
