Current Panels and Committees
Advisory committees are generally established to consider planning matters under one of the following categories:
- to consider proposals for a specific site, usually for a particular development of that site.
- to review planning controls that do not necessarily apply to a particular site or area, i.e. car parking controls and planning provisions.
Current planning advisory committees appointed by Planning Panels Victoria will appear on this page until a final decision is made on each proposal. After that decision is made the records will be retained on the Recent Panels and Committees page for a further 2 year period.

Moonee Valley Racecourse Redevelopment Advisory Committee
The Minister for Planning has appointed an Advisory Committee to provide advice on all relevant matters associated with the proposed redevelopment of the Moonee Valley Racecourse.

Standard Development Contributions Advisory Committee
An Advisory Committee has been appointed to provide advice on the final framework for a new development contributions system and the establishment of standard levies.The Committee comprises:

Western Highway Duplication Stage 3 - Ararat to Stawell EES Inquiry
VicRoads proposes to duplicate the Western Highway between Ararat and Stawell (Stage 3) as part of a larger project to duplicate the highway between Ballarat and Stawell.
The EES Inquiry comprises:
- Mr Trevor McCullough (Chair)
- Mr Daryl Brewin
- Mr Ian Harris
The Inquiry report is expected to be submitted in early July 2013.
