The Metropolitan Planning Strategy will be developed through extensive engagement and there are a number of ways for you to have your say.

A Vision for Victoria
The Victorian government is preparing a new vision for Victoria. A new metropolitan planning strategy and regional growth plans are being developed to build on the strengths of the city and our regions and provide long-term plans for the State.
The metropolitan planning strategy will place a strong emphasis on planning for Melbourne’s growth and change and on strengthening the linkages between Melbourne and regional Victoria.
The Regional Growth Plans will identify priorities for regions across Victoria, developing locally driven plans for population and economic growth.
Together these plans will build on the much loved aspects of Melbourne and regional Victoria and strengthen the State as a whole.
