Rural Land Use Planning Program

The Rural Land Use Planning Program provided funding to help councils to carry out strategic planning work to improve the protection and management of rural land within planning schemes.

The program responded to emerging issues and priorities shaping and changing regional Victoria. It provided funding to either address broader strategic planning issues or specific projects to fit into local planning schemes.

Fourteen projects covering twenty-six rural and regional municipalities have received funding through the program.
