UDP Annual Report 2008 - Industrial Land

The tables and maps below provide information on the supply and consumption of industrial land.

Six industrial nodes have been identified for metropolitan Melbourne and these nodes have been used as the basis for assessing adequacy of supply of industrial land. In the Geelong Region, industrial land supply is measured and assessed only for the municipality of Greater Geelong.

Industrial Tables

The industrial tables summarise supply and consumption of industrial land for the six industrial nodes and planning regions and includes:

  • average consumption

  • industrial land stocks

  • average lot sizes

  • number of lots by size

  • lot size distribution

Industrial Maps

The industrial maps show the availability and supply of industrial sites identified through the 2008 Urban Development Program.

Maps display industrial land parcels categorised by planning zone and supply status.

The maps also indicate the location of industrial nodes and planning regions as well as areas identified for 'future industrial' use.
