PLANET Professional Development Program
Creating better planners and liveable communities
PLANET (PLAnning NETwork) is the professional development and training program designed for planning professionals and other users of Victoria's planning system. A wide range of competency based training courses are delivered using workshops to ensure an effective learning experience.
PLANET objectives are to:
- improve practitioner skills by providing training in the planning system
- identify skills enhancement and offer a range of programs to advance knowledge
- provide a positive networking and learning environment
- ensure that high-quality training is delivered by experts
- promote 'best practice' in the operation and effectiveness of the planning system.
Planning Institute of Australia Professional Development Program
All PLANET programs are endorsed by the Planning Institute of Australia Victorian Division as part of an approved professional development (PD) program.
PD points have been allocated on all PLANET courses and may be used for the completion of professional development requirements for the Planning Institute of Australia.
