Research
Sport and Recreation Victoria conduct or fund research into various matters relating to the sport and recreation sector.
Standing Committee on Recreation and Sport Research Group
SRV actively participates in the Standing Committee on Recreation and Sport (SCORS) Research Group (SRG), a statistics advisory body to SCORS, a Committee which comprises high-level public servants from government sport and recreation agencies around Australia.
A key SRG function is advising on how to spend pooled funds of around $400,000 a year that states and territories allocate for research into sport and recreation.
If you are conducting research on sport and recreation participation or business activity, the SRG website has some resources you may find useful.
