Vietnam War
The Vietnam War divided Australian society. From 1962 to 1973 we sent almost 60,000 men and women to Vietnam then watched the war unfold on TV from the comfort of our loungerooms. 521 Australians died and over 3,000 were injured. Most came home but their war didn't necessarily end there - the political battle raged on on the homefront.
